more on geronimo...

basically, his small band of about 36, including women and children, were the last independent group of native americans to resist the us occupation of the west.  at one point he got trapped in a cave, but somehow managed to find a back door.  it's still called geronimo's cave.  this guy named lawton finally captured him, and he surenddured in arizona.  he did jail time in florida, oklahoma, and alabama, and became a celebrity when he was older.  he was even at the world's fair in 1904, selling souvenirs and pictures of himself.  he even got to ride in roosevelt's 1905 inaugural parade.  for all you conspiracy theorists, it's been reported that the group 'skull & bones,' a secret yale society stole his skull.  there's been recent law suits about it, and his descendants have even filed suit against barak to try to get it back.  not sure how barak fits into this...let me know if you find it.
